The space

Modern kitchen with stone counters & stainless steel appliances opens to the family room that includes vaulted ceilings, gas fireplace, & multiple sliding glass doors that open to private patio as well as to separate private pool.

This residence is nestled in Araby Cove in South Palm Springs just below the prestigious Southridge Estates. Hollywood celebrities such as Bob Hope, Steve McQueen, and William Holden were long-term residents of Southridge. A glimpse of the iconic Elrod Lautner Estate can be seen from this Araby Cove home, where the James Bond film "Diamonds Are Forever" was filmed. With its dynamic location among the mountains, it is a wonder young and older celebrities flock to this south Palm Springs location to places like Parker Palm Springs and Smoketree Ranch.

The five bedroom ranch-home, with more than 3,300 square feet of interior living, was recently upgraded combining its great location with many amenities and charming characteristics such as the vaulted wood-beamed ceilings, many clerestory windows, and arched windows in the entertainment room to expose the spectacular views of the desert landscape. The home was perfectly planned for entertaining or a relaxing oasis.

From the moment of arrival at the half circular driveway through the double front-doors the attention to detail will amaze you. The home is laid out in bamboo flooring and features an entertainment oasis with pool table and plenty of flat screen TVs around. A formal dining room is available in addition to a breakfast area, sit at bar, and enjoy easy access to the outdoor dining area (seating for 10 around the fire table along with 6 seats around the patio table). The adjacent great room is perfect for gatherings around the fireplace.

For intimate ambiance and solitary space, the home features many private nooks and patios for tranquility. Sun-worshiping is still allowed here for a full day poolside. Mindful repose beckons during the evening's foremost sunsets, then rejoice around the outdoor 7 foot long custom fire table with room for everyone to enjoy under a sea of stars. There is also a NETGEAR Nighthawk AC1900 Desktop Wi-Fi Range Extender in the center of the home that you can wire directly into as well.

In the City of Palm Springs, the main renter must be at least 25 years of age or older. By continuing with this reservation, renter represents that they are older than 25 years of age and further warrants that other occupants are either over the age of 25, or are accompanied by an adult guardian.

Pool Heating and Utilities: Our pricing includes complimentary daily pool heating and house Air Conditioning. However because they are controlled remotely there is a possibility of a technical glitch, so we kindly ask that you please inform us if they are not working upon arrival. Pool heating is limited to 80F so that the equipment is not impacted by overuse. We are not responsible for non working pool heating and will work with you on any refund should that occur during your stay.

NOISE: Palm Springs has strict ordinances that govern vacation rentals. In particular, we want you to note that "NO outside music is allowed at vacation rental homes." I know, we all love our tunes out by the pool, but it's just not allowed by law. Music may not be heard at the property lines at any time of the day (that includes music coming from inside the home). Please abide by this rule so you don't get fined by the police, and so we don't lose our vacation rental permit.

- Checkout time: 11am.

- Primary renter must be over the age of 25.

- Host requires a photocopy of renter's ID for verification before check-in.

- Guest won't be able to set the AC thermostat below 74F since this would damage the system.

- Pools are not heated during the Summer months.

- This is a private property and the host reserves right to access the property at any time to perform maintenance repairs necessary or requested by the renter.

- Landscaping & Pool maintenance schedule: we are unable to offer refunds or credits for inconveniences due to scheduling and maintenance done during your stay. We also request that our maintenance teams are not turned away if they should overlap your stay. Such instances can result in a $100 penalty as we will still incur a 'show up' charge, even if no work is performed.

- Pet Policy:

Only dogs allowed. No cats or any other animals.

1 small/medium-sized dog allowed (preferably under 50lbs)

Pet fee: $200 (non-refundable) required to be paid via www.airbnb.com/resolutions before check-in.

Your pet has to be house trained and you have to clean after him/her.

Absolutely no parties or loud music.

***URGENT - PLEASE READ ***

Due to new stricter regulations in Palm Springs, now every guest who books a Vacation Rental in the city is required to receive the Good Neighbor Brochure and also have all guests in the party fill out and sign the Statement of Rules BEFORE having access to the property. In addition to that, we need a list of all guests' vehicles, including license plate numbers and also a copy of your Government ID.

As the person booking this property, you are the main point of contact and person responsible for ensuring your guests comply with the house rules and City rules. Please be advised that the City will fine renters in $500 per occurrence without notice if they fail to comply with the local ordinance.

The main sources of violations are:

-An excessive and unaccounted number of guests onsite

-An excessive number of cars

-Loud outdoor music (and this includes playing music from inside the home so you can hear it outside)

-Trash left outside and on sight

Please send us the FIRST and LAST NAMES and EMAILS from every adult staying at the house.

Only registered guests as listed on the rental agreement should be on the premises. No additional guests or visitors allowed.

We apologize for any inconvenience, however, the City of Palm Springs is not treating this lightly and everyone has to obey and adapt to the new scenario.
