One of Old Town's most perfect hideaways, central to everything San Diego has to offer, you are staying in one of our most treasured spaces & a hidden gem (that won't stay hidden for long). You’ll really love this place because of location. We guarantee our home will make your trip to San Diego extra special.

The space

This cute cottage is in a property with another 3 similar units, all just recently renovated and decorated with much care and love :)

You can even inquire about renting 2, 3 or all 4 units if you want to have a big family reunion and have the whole place for that!

*Each one of these 1-bedroom units is completely independent and all of them have the same setup
   *Bedroom has a Queen-size bed
   *Living room has one queen-size sofa-bed
   *Both rooms have ceiling fans and there's one window AC unit inside the bedroom.
   *There are two LED TVs with cable channels and streaming (Roku) is available in one of the TVs.
   *Four guests will share one bathroom that is accessed via bedroom and has tub and shower
   *There's seating for all four to dine and the kitchen is equipped for basic meals during your trip. We have stove, oven, microwave, toaster, drip coffee machine, and of course fridge.
    *Each unit has its own private outdoor space, the front units have a little turf and BBQ grill with two outdoor chairs.
    The back units each have a more spacious but covered patio, also with seating and a BBQ grill
    *Shared with all 4 units is the coin-operated laundry with 1 washer and 1 dryer
    *Only street parking, free and available in front of the property most of the time but can be tricky after 5pm and during weekends

Guest access

*Guests will have access to entire space described above and the pictures show the exact unit.
    *This unit has a fenced front yard with turf, outdoor chairs and charcoal BBQ. There's no direct access to the turf from inside the unit
    *The lot in which the property is situated on is shared with our three other cottages and they share only the security gate and laundry area.

Other things to note

This is Old Town. It's very residential and also very touristic. Most people love it.
    If you are close-minded or looking for a "traditional American suburb" style, this will not be a good fit.

There might be some noise from the highway and the planes, but really and HONESTLY very light noise. You can hear it when standing outside in the garden. They become totally unnoticeable when inside the home.

Please note that we have certain minimum nights for certain times of the year - for holidays and peak season rental seasons we may require 5 nights minimum.

• Please only book out place if you can check out by 11am the day of your departure.
    • We keep a pretty busy schedule and usually have someone checking in the same day. Housekeeping will be arriving at 11am to get the place ready for the next guest.
    • Please do not ask to negotiate our prices as they are set on a daily basis and already take into account the fair market value of the home and its amenities.

Additional rules

-Primary renter must be over the age of 25.

-Host may request a photocopy of renter's ID for verification before check-in.

-This is a private property and the host reserves the right to access the property at any time to perform maintenance repairs necessary or requested by the renter.

PET POLICY: For these pet-friendly homes, there’s an additional $100 pet fee (one dog or two small). Cats are not allowed anytime. If pets were to be brought without our consent and knowledge, guests will have to pay twice the pet fee or will have their reservation cancelled immediately.

By booking this Property, you agree that you meet one of the qualifications below (denoted by the bullet point) and that the booking by you of this Property is your testimony as to the below order and your compliance herein. As such and by Order of the San Diego County Public Health Officer all hotels and lodging establishments must require guests to certify that they are staying in the hotel in compliance with the “Stay-at-Home Order.”  I, the person booking the rental property who appears on this reservation, certify under penalty of perjury under the laws of the State of California that the foregoing is true and correct and that I meet one of the following categories:  • I (the person booking the rental property who appears on this reservation) am an essential worker needed to maintain the continuity of operations within San Diego county in one of the federal critical infrastructure sectors found in https://covid19.ca.gov/img/EssentialCritical InfrastructureWorkers.pdf; or  • I (the person booking the rental property who appears on this reservation) am homeless and seeking shelter; or  • I (the person booking the rental property who appears on this reservation) have been exposed to COVID-19 and I am isolating myself from others; or  • My (the person booking the rental property who appears on this reservation) primary residence is unsafe due to the condition of the residence or because I (the person booking the rental property who appears on this reservation) am at risk of abuse or a household member accompanying me is at risk of abuse.   Any person who knowingly misrepresents that they meet the criteria above, and any hotel or lodging establishment that knowingly permits a guest to stay in violation of the “Stay-at-Home Order” are subject to fine or imprisonment. (California Health and Safety Code section 120295.)

Amenity limitations — AC is located inside the bedroom only. Bathroom is also inside the bedroom.

No parking on property — *Only street parking, free and available in front of the property most of the time but can be tricky after 5pm and during weekends

Potential for noise — Some might say there's some street noise during the day, but nothing that should bother during the night.

Must climb stairs — 1 flight of stairs with 5 steps to enter the property.

Some spaces are shared — Laundry room is shared, coin operated
