Amazing mix of Spanish bungalow style with a modern twist. It is a peaceful, safe haven, with a warm welcoming feeling. The outdoor is set up to relax in quiet and peace with many different areas to sit and read a book or just soak up the San Diego sunshine!
Our place is the perfect home to stay!
Very walkable area including Balboa Park, the San Diego Zoo and limitless cafes, restaurants and shops. Perfect for a quick getaway, a beer tour in North Park or a business trip. Great for small families or 2 couples.
Take a walk or ride to weekly Farmers' Market, Balboa Park or North Park Observatory to enjoy live music.
In the heart of amazing North Park with original character and a beautiful backyard, this home has it all.
This home is very spacious (about 1,200 sqft of living area) and features 2 bedrooms and 1 full and 1 half bathroom. One bedroom has a king sized bed and the second bedroom has one queen sized bed and access to a charming patio. Bathrooms are outside bedrooms.
Fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, dishes utensils and pantry items for your convenience. **Please, make sure to check the stove after use to make sure it is off.
After you finish preparing your meal you can seat on the dining table (seats 6) and enjoy your food!
Cozy living room with SmartTV + Cable. Games and books are also available for guests to use. The indoor fireplace is electric and can be controlled with remote. **Note: Wood or Duraflames cannot be burned in the fireplace.
There is a super nice outdoor area in the back of the house with seating areas on different levels, Gas BBQ grill, Outdoor Heating and a Fountain. The fire pit is unfortunately not operational and guests should not attempt to lit anything on it.
**There is a tree that is in the middle of the deck - NO ONE is to climb in the tree. Also, backyard decking has multi levels and it does not have a railing, be careful.

-Washer and Dryer in garage.
-Heating and Air Conditioner - Minisplit system in each room with remote control.
-Ceiling Fans in Living Room and Bedrooms. Floor Fans are also available if you feel the need.
-Boogie Boards, Beach Chairs, Beach Towels -- Coronado beach is 7.5 mi away!
-1 Bicycle and 1 Helmet in garage but there is a bike rental place (Stubborn Goat) about 1 mile away that rents bikes if you your group wants to ride together!
PARKING: There is one tandem parking in driveway (fits 2 cars) and street parking available in front of house. Garage is not available for parking.

Home Truths - Important:
*Backyard decking has multi levels and it does not have a railing, be careful.
*There is some tile in the main bathroom that is chipped - it is the original 1920s tile - so be careful.
*Master bedroom has black out curtains to prevent the neighbors lights from coming in.
*The stove top needs to be checked after use to make sure it is off.
*Wood or Duraflames cannot be burned in the electric fireplace.
*NO climbing on the trees in the backyard.
*The fire pit is unfortunately not operational and guests should not attempt to lit anything on it.
*Full bathroom tends to have a leaky valve that runs water. Please contact us if this happens during your stay.
*The house still has some old pipes and the shower drain is slow so please DO NOT remove the mesh drain catcher.

No one likes rules, least of all, us -- but we do have a few requirements so that the home is in as perfect a shape for each guest as possible.
-Please respect check-in and checkout times.
-Primary renter must be over the age of 25.
-Host may request a photocopy of renter's ID for verification before check-in.
-This is a private property and the host reserves the right to access the property at any time to perform maintenance repairs necessary or requested by the renter.
-No climbing on the trees in the backyard. -No parties, events or large gatherings. -No smoking or vaping inside/outside the house -No parking in the neighbors driveway -Lights and AC/Heating are to be turned off when away.
PET POLICY: For these pet-friendly homes, there’s an additional $150 pet fee (one dog or two small). Cats are not allowed anytime. Those fees are not included in the price shown by Airbnb and should be paid via www.airbnb.com/resolutions If pets were to be brought without our consent and knowledge, guests will have to pay twice the pet fee or will have their reservation cancelled immediately.
-Control their barking - if you have a loud dog, please never leave it in the condo alone.
-Don’t let them treat everything like a fire hydrant (inside and outside the condo).
-Play is fun, but silence is golden - be respectful of those living in adjacent units and directly under you.
-Keep them on leash while in the building.
-Always pick up after your dog.
-Wash those paws and minimize bringing messes inside the condo.
By booking this Property, you agree that you meet one of the qualifications below (denoted by the bullet point) and that the booking by you of this Property is your testimony as to the below order and your compliance herein. As such and by Order of the San Diego County Public Health Officer all hotels and lodging establishments must require guests to certify that they are staying in the hotel in compliance with the “Stay-at-Home Order.”

As the renter and those in the rental party who are visiting and/or staying in the home (you and each of them each an "INDIVIDUAL") accepts the Premises “as is.” INDIVIDUAL shall assume all risk and responsibility for the actions of INDIVIDUAL on the Premises. INDIVIDUAL shall have insurance coverage to cover the activities at this location and for the purpose of the Agreement. Any insurance carried by host, owner or manager shall be noncontributing. Indemnification. INDIVIDUAL shall release, indemnify, defend, and save harmless host, owner, manager, and their respective trustees, officers, directors, employees and agents from and against all claims, suits, actions, damages, or causes of action for any personal injury, loss of life or damage to property sustained by reason or as a result of the use of the Premises for which the Agreement is entered into and from and against any orders, judgments, or decrees which may be entered thereto, and from and against all costs, attorney’s fees, expenses, and liabilities incurred in or by reason of the defense for any such claim, suit or action and the investigation thereof. Nothing in this Agreement shall be deemed to affect the rights, privileges, and immunities of owner, host, manager as are provided.
