The sunny reading nook can double as a second spacious bed for an afternoon nap or a second bed.
Separate bath and shower in the Italian-tiled bathroom makes it easy for a couple to get ready together in the mornings. Oh, and don't fret if the parking meter in there is expired: you won't get a ticket. :)

Wanna enjoy a morning cup of coffee overlooking the cityscape of downtown? Take a few steps up to the sun-covered roof deck (building shared area) and enjoy your brew under the bright blue sky.
You'll be in the SOMA, the city's start-up epicenter. The air of Silicon Valley's creative energy fills the streets, and the local neighborhood's cafes, restaurants, and bars provide a relaxing interlude from your exciting days around town.

The property has heating but no air conditioning and at times can be very warm so we provide some portable fans.
One assigned parking spot is available in the garage. It's very narrow, good for compact cars only, would not fit an SUV.
Other things to note
Your property is on the second floor and there is no elevator.
Street Parking is free but limited (2-hour only). Also, beware of street sweeping hours, vehicles need to be moved to avoid ticketing. Please do not leave ANYTHING in your cars. Even a jacket or an empty bag might look like it is disguising something of value. Unfortunately, the frequency of car break-ins has increased throughout the city.
The roof deck is not suitable for children/infants.

No one likes rules, least of all, us -- but we do have a few requirements so that the home is in as perfect a shape for each guest as possible.
-Please respect check-in and checkout times. Check-in: 4pm-10pm. Checkout: 11am
-Primary renter must be over the age of 25.
-Host may request a photocopy of renter's ID for verification before check-in.
-This is a private property and the host reserves the right to access the property at any time to perform maintenance repairs necessary or requested by the renter.

-Potential for noise — Urban location so there will be some road noise and noise from people in the street.
-Must climb stairs — Your apartment is on the 2nd floor and there is no elevator in the building. Need to climb stairs to get to the shared rooftop deck.
-Some spaces are shared — Rooftop deck is part of the building and all residents have access to it.
-Heights without rails or protection — Building has a rooftop and guests will be able to access it.
-Security camera/recording device — Our properties may have outdoor security cameras aimed on the exterior of the home, doorbell camera and/or an alarm system for the safety of the house and its occupants. Non-recording audio monitoring devices (NoiseAware) might be installed onsite to warn us of excessive noise and avoid complaints.
