BOOKING REQUIRMENTS:

1. This property requires a separate security deposit. Security deposit MUST be paid 48hrs after booking is confirmed (or 24hrs before check-in if booking is confirmed within 48hrs of check-in). Also, guests will have to sign a separate formal rental agreement that will be sent via Docusign. BEFORE having access to the property we need confirmation of receipt of the signed agreement and the security deposit payment.

This adds an extra step to the quick booking process, and we believe you will find our beautiful Dana Point property well worth it.

2. Primary renter must be over the age of 30.

3. All guests must be registered with the security gate.

4. One mid stay - light clean (at 2 weeks) and checkout cleaning is included. We will inform you the day and time of the mid-stay cleaning in advance.

HOME TRUTHS:

1. This is a beachfront property - beach conditions are not guaranteed and can be DANGEROUS. No guarantee on beach access or conditions - with high tide there is a possibility that the stairs to the beach and sand bags will wash off.

2. BE CAREFUL with the stairs to the beach. They are pretty steep especially when the tide is low. Make sure to check the pictures on the listing.

3. Please note this is a beach house, literally situated on the sand — you should note that as such the home does show wear from the saturation of salt water and corrosion. Any reservations made affected by such issues are disclaimed and are not eligible for refunds or credits. Such examples may include but are not limited to doors that require more effort to open, windows that have a layer of salt film, and generally rusted metal throughout.

4. Property is on the beach and it can be very windy in the area. Hot Tub cover MUST BE kept on when not in use (for liability purposes since it's on the beach and also for conserving energy). Also, umbrellas and furniture MUST BE closed/put away when windy or in the event of a storm.

Please inquire before confirming your booking if you're not 100% sure about the space. The description and the pictures were meant to describe it as much as possible, but if you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask them.

The house is really immaculate and we want to host guests that can take care of it and keep it in excellent condition until the owners return. For this reason we think the house is not suitable for pets but we may consider under certain circumstances.

No one likes rules, least of all, us -- but we do have a few requirements so that the home is in as perfect a shape for each guest as possible.

-Please respect check-in and checkout times.

-Primary renter must be over the age of 30.

-Host may request a photocopy of renter's ID for verification before check-in, a signed formal rental agreement and a security deposit.

-This is a private property and the host reserves the right to access the property at any time to perform maintenance repairs necessary or requested by the renter.

-Maintenance schedule: we are unable to offer refunds or credits for inconveniences due to scheduling and maintenance done during your stay. We also request that our maintenance teams are not turned away if they should overlap your stay. Such instances can result in a $100 penalty as we will still incur a 'show up' charge, even if no work is performed.

-Absolutely NO PARTIES or loud music.

-This is a NON-SMOKING property.

-NO animals or pets of any kind are permitted at the Property except (1) as specifically authorized in your reservation, or (2) bona fide service animals that we are required by law to allow. Emotional support animals are not permitted except as authorized pets. You agree that a prohibition on animals is not a guarantee that an animal has not been inside the Property or that the Property is free of animal or pet allergens. If pets were to be brought without our consent and knowledge, guests will have to pay twice the pet fee or will have their reservation cancelled immediately.

You must also acknowledge

-Amenity limitations — No guarantee on beach access or conditions

-Must climb stairs

-Security camera/recording device — Our properties may have outdoor security cameras aimed on the exterior of the home, doorbell camera and/or an alarm system for the safety of the house and its occupants. Non-recording audio monitoring devices (NoiseAware) might be installed onsite to warn us of excessive noise and avoid complaints.

-Pool/hot tub without a gate or lock
