LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!
As our guest, you will have free unlimited access to the Northstar shuttle which transports you to and from the Village and ski slopes right from the front door! Within a 10 or 15 minute drive you can reach the towns of Truckee and Kings Beach, as well as the famous beauty of Lake Tahoe itself. The location of our condo is unbeatable!
On top of our amenities, you'll have access to the private Northstar Recreation Center, including lap pool, children's pool, sauna, hot tubs, fitness facility, and tennis courts. This is a fabulous way to cool down in the summer or soak those sore muscles in the winter.
With so many amazing attractions nearby, you may even have a hard time deciding what to do.
And when you want to enjoy some time indoors, our condo has the perfect mix of peace and space. The first level of the condo holds 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom. The middle level provides everyone with a open living room/dining room and kitchen. The third story adds 2 more bedrooms and another full bathroom. As an added plus, one of the bedrooms also has a separate sink for a little extra space to help everyone get ready for the day. The bottom two floors come with their own decks with a gorgeous mountain view.
*IMPORTANT ACCESSIBILITY NOTE* The condo is at the bottom of a long staircase, so people with mobility challenges may have trouble accessing the property.
Guests have free use of the entire townhome, which comes with a grill on the upper deck and tree lined mountain ridge views of both the upper and lower decks. Our ski closet will have sleds for you to enjoy.
Living room TV comes equipped with Netflix, Hulu and Amazon options for you to log in and use (remember to log out when you leave) and cable. Master bedroom has a smart TV that is not connected to cable; it is used for streaming only.
Living room also features a wood-burning fireplace. Please purchase your own wood for the fireplace and use caution when lighting. Please don’t clean out the fireplace; hot ashes will be disposed of after they have cooled.
Guests will be able to access Northstar Property Owners Association Recreation Center for a small daily fee ($5 per person). We supply passes which allows entry for max of 16 people. Rec center includes communal pool, hot tubs, heated pool, sauna, fitness center, playground, game room, tennis courts. Any lost or unreturned badges will incur a $150 replacement fee. NOTE that we can't guarantee the community amenities/services availability and operation during your stay.
There is a large parking lot above the condo that's free for you to park in. Northstar HOA strictly enforces use of the parking passes. Two (2) parking passes will be provided. There are periodic checks of cars in the area, so using a parking pass will help avoid unnecessary hassle. Please put one on your dashboard during your stay and return it when you leave.
There is also complimentary shuttle access to renters during their stay within Northstar boundaries. The shuttle service picks up every 15 minutes or so from the condo to go to and from the Village and ski slopes. For driving yourself to the slopes, we recommend you review Northstar’s current parking policies.

The schedule above is weather permitting and is subject to change at any time. If you plan on booking during these dates, please contact us for updated information about the work.
*NOISE* This is part of an HOA community so please be mindful and courteous of noise levels. Quiet hours are between the hours of 10 pm and 9 am. During that time frame please keep noise to a minimum.
*ACCESSIBILITY NOTE* Please note that our condo is at the bottom of a long series of staircases, so people with mobility challenges may have trouble accessing the property.
**UTILITIES NOTE** No air conditioner. During winter, when you check out or leave the property do not turn heater off, ALWAYS leave the property heated to at least 55 degrees Fahrenheit to prevent freezing the pipes.
Keep Tahoe Clean! All recycling can go in a blue bag (under the sink), and put directly in the trash dumpsters. These bags are sorted through by hand, so we are encouraged to rinse cans and bottles before depositing. Please read the recycling guide that is posted. Guests are responsible for taking their trash and recycling to the dumpster in the parking lot before checking out. If dumpsters are full, please find an empty dumpster or transport the garbage to the Northstar Trash area (located on Northstar Drive, near the Basque intersection).
Black bears are very common in this area and have become habituated to human food and garbage. Never feed bears or leave food out for pets. Please dispose of your trash properly in the trash dumpsters (don’t leave out beside the dumpster) and be sure to close the dumpster securely to ensure no bears can climb inside.
As you know, California has high fire danger. Please keep in mind campfires and fireworks are illegal and not allowed in the Truckee/Tahoe Basin. Do not have bonfires or any other outdoor wood fires even in a contained fire pit. You can be personally held liable for any fires started accidentally or otherwise.
Please note that in winter weather & storm conditions such services as Internet and cable may be spotty and/or nonfunctional. Those are beyond our control and we do not provide refunds or credits in the event that services are out due to inclement weather conditions, which is the norm. Please book only if you are ok with the potential of not having cable or Internet during your stay during bad weather.
Please note, we do our very best to ensure that after each reservation the amenities listed below are and remain in the home. As you might imagine, things go "missing" over time and while we do our best to check and replace, things (like a hair dryer) can go missing and therefore we kindly ask that you check with us first, have a back up in place just in case, or otherwise agree to book our home with the understanding that some items listed throughout our listing may not be on site. For that we apologize and will do whatever we can to remediate as quickly as possible. No refunds will be given nonetheless.
Please inquire before confirming your booking if you're not 100% sure about the space. The description and the pictures were meant to describe it as much as possible, but if you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask them.

By booking this home you agree to the rules and conditions outlined here https://www.airconcierge.net/g... as well as those denoted below.
No one likes rules, least of all, us -- but we do have a few requirements so that the home is in as perfect a shape for each guest as possible.
-Please respect check-in and checkout times.
-Primary renter must be over the age of 25.
-Host may request a photocopy of renter's ID for verification before check-in.
-This is a private property and the host reserves the right to access the property at any time to perform maintenance repairs necessary or requested by the renter.
-Maintenance schedule: we are unable to offer refunds or credits for inconveniences due to scheduling and maintenance done during your stay. We also request that our maintenance teams are not turned away if they should overlap your stay. Such instances can result in a $100 penalty as we will still incur a 'show up' charge, even if no work is performed.
-Absolutely no parties or loud music.
-This is a NON-SMOKING property.
-NO animals or pets of any kind are permitted at the Property except (1) as specifically authorized in your reservation, or (2) bona fide service animals that we are required by law to allow. Emotional support animals are not permitted except as authorized pets. You agree that a prohibition on animals is not a guarantee that an animal has not been inside the Property or that the Property is free of animal or pet allergens. If pets were to be brought without our consent and knowledge, guests will have their reservation cancelled immediately.
-In winter time we highly recommend a 4-wheel drive vehicle and to add sufficient travel time when planning your drive to the property. Also, be cautious while walking on the parking lot especially at night during winter time in icy conditions.
-Check thermostat in living room - it should be programmed at 55°
-Make all adjustments using the Down and Up arrows
-All heater adjustments are an override of the programmed 55°
-Heater will automatically go back down to 55° at 6am, 11am, 5pm and 10pm
Out & About: When leaving for an extended time, please lower the temperature to the lowest temp that you are comfortable with (suggest 62-65°)
-Lower set temperature to 55°; double-check heater is set to Program (not Manual)
-Please make sure nobody in your group has adjusted the programmed times or temperature.
-As is common in these tall condos, heat is difficult to distribute evenly. We recommend: Close the doors to the downstairs bedrooms and at the bottom of the stairs (between the long hallway and front entryway). The downstairs rooms are the most difficult to heat, so this can help. Turn on the overhead fan in the upstairs bedroom to move heat around and push it down. Note: The downstairs thermostat does not control the heat it only acts as a register to record the temperature. The thermostat on the second floor affects the heat for the entire condo.
Guests are responsible for any fines/citations/penalties received by host or owner if caused intentionally or negligently by guest or guests of guest. Please review the Placer County Good Neighbor Policies in the link below: https://www.placer.ca.gov/DocumentCenter/View/58384/Placer-Good-Neighbor-Flyer-031722

-During winter times, or when day time temperatures may be below 35 degrees Fahrenheit, then when checking out, turn off the main water valve completely and drain all pipes to prevent freezing. Also, leave the property heated to at least 55 degrees Fahrenheit to prevent freezing the pipes.
-Check washing machine, refrigerator, hot water heater, air conditioner (when available) and other major appliances (which use water hoses or drain lines) for damage, kinks, cracks, and contact us if you find any.
-If you notice any leaks around sinks, tubs, toilets, and hot water heaters contact us as soon as possible. These issues can lead to costly mold damage and rotten floating.
-Never overload electrical outlets and extension cords, or place throw rugs over electrical cords.
-Do not block a baseboard heater (when available)
-Never leave cooking appliances unattended on or unattended.
-Prevent potential embers from causing fires by using a Spark Arrestor at active fireplaces.
-Never dispose of ashes in the bear box trash can.
-Keep the fireplace cleaned. Check for cracks, excessive soot, and ensure the chimney is properly topped with a metal cap to keep vermin out.
-Make sure to close garage doors and lock your car at night. Thieves will steal a garage door opener for easy access into a home later.
-Contact us if you notice any dead and damaged trees which threaten your or neighbor’s property.
