Once inside the gated driveway, your breath is taken away. You've left Seattle and are at the edge of the Puget Sound.

The space

Also, there is a yoga room with mats and balls (or you can drive a short 8 minutes to The Heart Center).

A stunning oasis both inside and out eagerly awaits your arrival. With an abundance of windows, you're able to take advantage of the breathtaking views overlooking the water from anywhere in the home. This is a wildlife sanctuary with seals, porpoises, sea lions, otter families, bald eagles, osprey, herron, ducks, geese, rock crab, Dungeness crab, clams, giant snails, salmon, seagulls, oystercatchers & occasional Orcas. You will certainly see something new!

Other things to note

HOME TRUTHS:
This home is located in one of the most beautiful spots in Seattle and designed by a renowned NW architect. However, the home is 50 years old and has some "beach house” like characteristics. This is an authentic northwest beach with rocks, barnacles, dark sand, and driftwood.

Downstairs Living Room has a sleeping area with a Queen bed. It is not an actual bedroom as it does not have doors, windows, storage, it is closed by curtain only for some privacy (heavy velvet curtain).

Kitchen has concrete countertops and are prone to damage and staining. Please DO NOT cut directly on the surface or leave foreign material on countertops.

ABSOLUTELY NO PARKING is permitted in front of or across from neighboring homes at any time. Parking is only permitted in the driveway.

Please inquire before confirming your booking if you're not 100% sure about the space. The description and the pictures were meant to describe it as much as possible, but if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask them.

No one likes rules, least of all, us -- but we do have a few requirements so that the home is in as perfect a shape for each guest as possible.

-Please respect check-in and checkout times.

-Primary renter must be over the age of 25.

-The maximum occupancy for the property may not be exceeded at any time.

-Host may request a photocopy of renter's ID for verification before check-in.

-This is a private property and the host reserves the right to access the property at any time to perform maintenance repairs necessary or requested by the renter.

-Landscaping & Pool maintenance schedule: we are unable to offer refunds or credits for inconveniences due to scheduling and maintenance done during your stay. We also request that our maintenance teams are not turned away if they should overlap your stay. Such instances can result in a $100 penalty as we will still incur a 'show up' charge, even if no work is performed.

-Absolutely no parties or loud music.

-This is a NON-SMOKING property.

-NO animals or pets of any kind are permitted at the Property except (1) as specifically authorized in your reservation, or (2) bona fide service animals that we are required by law to allow. Emotional support animals are not permitted except as authorized pets. You agree that a prohibition on animals is not a guarantee that an animal has not been inside the Property or that the Property is free of animal or pet allergens. If pets were to be brought without our consent and knowledge, guests will have their reservation cancelled immediately.

-ABSOLUTELY NO PARKING is permitted in front of or across from neighboring homes at any time. Parking is only permitted in the driveway.
-Do not park vehicles in garage (low overhead)
-Quite time begins at 9pm
-No fires are allowed inside or outside. Guests can use the beach fire pits. Guests have to comply with city of Seattle code for beachside open fire ordinance.
-Do not operate or use Sailboat on lift
-Do not leave children unattended near bulkhead or waterfront
-Do not use piano
-Do not use deck or space above garage
-Do not leave garbage outside. Please dispose of garbage into receptacle and close lid.

-Amenity limitations — The windows are single pane in the lower level, and bedrooms may be more difficult to heat during winter months.

-Must climb stairs — Property has 3 floors and many stairs inside and outside.

-Pool/hot tub without a gate or lock — Please, watch your children closely in the pool, and swim at your own risk. Never leave children unattended in the pool area.

-Nearby lake, river, other body of water — Property is on the beach and has access to the beach. Please, never leave children unattended outside!

-Heights without rails or protection — Deck, balcony and property is on the water. Please, never leave children unattended outside!

-May encounter potentially dangerous animal — This is a wildlife sanctuary with seals, porpoises, sea lions, seagulls, oystercatchers & occasional Orcas.

-Climbing or play structure — Two swings are available outside. Use at your own risk. Never leave children unattended outside.
