Nestled in a tree-lined residential neighborhood just 4 blocks from Downtown Palo Alto, this splendidly remodeled Tudor style home is a charming, yet sophisticated retreat that offers rich architectural details - including vaulted ceilings, crown molding, plantation shutters, hardwood floors, custom built-ins and a wood-burning fireplace in the formal living room.
Perfect for those coming to Stanford University, Silicon Valley, close to San Francisco (~30 mins drive).
There are 3 traditional bedrooms and 5 beds total. Two bedrooms upstairs with traditional beds. One of the upstairs bedroom has french doors to an inviting balcony/patio. Our downstairs bedroom has a sofa bed and a sleeping loft area with a bed. The downstairs bedroom also has french doors to the private backyard. The living room has huge really nice, upgraded mattress pullout sofa bed. All beds are "Full" except the living room sofa bed (Queen).
There are 2 full bathrooms. The bright upstairs bathroom has shower over tub and French doors to the balcony. The downstairs bathroom has shower only.
Perfect for entertaining, the dining area has french doors to a lush secluded garden patio. The gourmet kitchen has granite slab counters, breakfast bar, Sub Zero-like fridge and Thermador Professional gas range.

We are close to everything, including anything on Stanford University campus (can walk to stadium); walk to downtown Palo Alto; walk to CalTrain to access any point on Peninsula: frequent trains between San Jose and San Francisco.
Great food and great coffee is just 5 minutes away from the home. Perfect location!
You will get one parking spot on the driveway. In addition, street parking is free and available for 2 hours on weekdays and anytime morning, evening, weekends and holidays.
► LOFT:
Children sleeping in loft should not be small (over 10 years old or older ONLY)
The portable A/C is in the loft because the home A/C does not reach the loft and it gets hot there in the summer.
► DINING TABLE:
Dining table must be protected from liquids, heat, etc. Custom table pad available. Any damage to the table will be deducted from security deposit.
► BBQ:
Please note that Propane is not provided. All tanks and filling station can be found nearby at Home Depot straight down University Avenue
► PIANO:
Electronic keyboard/piano in rowing room is available but in the event it is not functional or working as intended we can offer no support or troubleshooting services.
► EV OUTLET:
There is an outlet for electric/plug-in hybrid car charging available in our driveway however if such outlet is not functional or working as intended we can offer no support or troubleshooting services.
► REGULAR MAINTENANCE:
Landscaping schedule: Monday mornings
Trash and Recycling: Leave bins on curb Sunday evening for early Monday morning pick-up. Return bins to patio after pick up.

This is the personal home of a successful, smart, mother and accomplished professional. Certificates and family photos adorn the halls, toys line the walls, and artifacts are on full display - just scanning the bookcase in the living room tells a compelling life story that you can't help but learn a bit about during your stay. It was surprising at first to feel like the owner had just vacated for a short time to make room for us, but we got used to it and appreciated the homey-ness. The home is tidy, charming, quiet and well located for access to downtown Palo Alto.
Beautiful location!
Thank you so much for a lovely stay! The beds were soooo comfortable and the pillows were awesome- several choices - no need to bring your pillow from home! I was surprised at how many things they had in the pantry and in the freezer. We didn’t need any of them, but, if I needed to cook, it would’ve been a great resource! It’s a beautiful older home, so there is a little bit of an older home smell but nothing bad and nothing that distracts you or gets in the way of a really great time there. The upstairs gets very warm and the lower area of the house gets a little colder so you might want to bring a sweater downstairs. I loved all the Homie edits that make you feel warm and that you’re at your favorite auntie’s house. The restaurants are walking distance and amazing. Incredible location to access Stanford and Downtown.Area. It’s very quite private and a very safe street.
