This is a very quiet, residential neighborhood. You will be surrounded by mostly single-family homes. A few blocks from Balboa Park and all it has to offer and walking distance (less than 1.0 mile) to downtown North Park and Hillcrest.
Close to everything. Reach the Gas Lamp, Coronado, beaches, the zoo, Little Italy, the airport and just about everywhere by car in less than 15 minutes or by a $5 - $15 Uber/Lyft ride.

Parking: If you have a car, there is usually plenty of street parking available during the day near our place (there are no permits, street cleaning, etc. to worry about). At nights, though, it can be difficult to find parking in front of the studio, so plan accordingly.

Great place to stay in San Diego. Convenient location and walking distance to so many cafes and restaurants. I would love to stay here again on my next trip.
Exactly what I was looking for! Very clean and cozy space. Quiet, safe, walkable neighborhood. Right in the middle between Hillcrest and North Park where you can find great restaurants and so much more. Five minute walk to my all time favorite coffee spot- Communal Coffee. I’d absolutely stay here again!
This was an inexpensive stay in a cool area of San Diego. The space was small, but it was comfortable for 2 people. Parking was somewhat complicated at night, as suggested in the description but we got a spot nearby every night. The host is also super attentive and asked if we needed anything just about every day.
