Pros: - Very convenient and spacious apartment with everything you need — comfortable furniture, good TV, strong internet, and a proper workstation. I worked from home during my stay, and that setup was really important and worked well. - Beautiful view from the living room - The host was extremely responsive and thoughtful — even small requests were handled quickly (for example, I asked for a cooking pan and it was ordered and delivered the next day). - The location is great: very central, close to downtown, Volunteer Park, and other great spots in the area. Cons: - During the colder season, when other residents use their fireplaces in the building, the smell can occasionally be noticeable inside the apartment. - While the location is central, the immediate area can feel less comfortable in the evenings.
The space was incredible. The owners truly put so much consideration into how this home was laid out. The bed was the most comfortable bed we’ve ever slept in (and we usually sleep in a Purple bed!). The furniture was lovely. TVs worked well. The sights were stunning. Loved the little balcony and we watched the sunset and rise nearly everyday! Internet was great for two from-home workers. The kitchen was well-stocked. Loved the water filtration system. Really enjoyed all of the dimmable lights. We stayed for a little over a month with lots of stuff (moving to the area) and we had plenty of storage for everything. The area is the *only* downside. There’s an intense unhoused population (like lots of areas in Seattle), so, just be aware of your surroundings. Loved the parking spot within the gate, too! Really enjoyed our stay overall.
