Carlsbad is home to shopping and great restaurants. There's also Legoland and the Museum of Making Music and the farmers market every Wednesday afternoon.
San Diego is close by with its wealth of attractions including San Diego Zoo/ Wild Animal Park, Balboa Park, USS Midway, craft beer scene, wine tasting, and so much more.
You'll have two parking spaces (driveway) and the garage may be available (please check before booking) if you choose to drive; otherwise, Carlsbad station is serviced by the SD Coaster as well as Amtrak. San Diego's public transit also runs along Carlsbad Blvd. Of course, Uber, Lyft, and taxi service are available as well.
We have a train that does pass by the home (less than 500' away).

Clean, modern and recently updated (May 2026). Love being secluded by trees/bushes in the middle of down. Short walking distance from all the restaurants. Would go again.
Amazing location for our girls trip on the beach. The house is too short blocks or about 15 houses from the beautiful Carlsbad Beach. It’s also walkable to get into town. We walked in for dinner one night but the next day when we chose to take the car and it was pretty easy to find free parking. There’s lots to do, lots of shopping and restaurants and as previously mentioned, the beach is nearby and great. I love staying in Airbnb’s especially when like this one has separate bedrooms and two full bathrooms plus a nice sized living area with a TV and a big kitchen and table. It’s just so nice to have a place to spread out and relax. There’s an outdoor shower in the back and a private front yard. Laundry plus she had toys and chairs for the beach. The linens and the pillows were comfortable, and the kitchen was very well stocked. I love it when there are options of single beds for kids. This was a very comfortable easily accessible place to stay! I would definitely come again
We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb. The house was spacious and comfortable for our family of four, with plenty of room to cook, eat, relax, and enjoy our time together. The location was excellent, with the beach just a short 5-minute walk away, making it very convenient for daily visits. The host was extremely responsive and helpful throughout our stay, ensuring that everything went smoothly. While there is some train noise, the host had informed us about it in advance, and we found it to be manageable and not disruptive to our overall experience. Overall, this was a great place for a family vacation, and we would happily stay here again
